"I believe in the love of God, it is an orphan's wildest dream, it is a Narrow Little Road, it is an ever widening desert stream" ~ Red Mountain hymn

"This narrow little road may be filled with both abundant joy and humiliating sorrow; surely, even its promised Divine acceptance cannot assure it's travelers absense of profound rejection. Indeed, this narrow road may be filled with a great many things, but the one thing it truly lacks is regret!" ~Debbie Sue

boise to boston and back

Howdy y'all! This trip has been more of an adventure than I could ever dare to express. By the end of this summer I will have been to 33 states and driven well over 15,000 miles in a car. My back may be permanently damaged but my heart has never been more full. We traveled through at least 9 of the top 24 rated National Parks. If you add in state parks and National Forrests, we hit well over 20. Some of my favorites were Yellowstone, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Shenandoah, Black Hills, Needles Scenic Highway, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Red Rock, Capitol Reef... oh man the list goes on. The Grand Canyon was absolutely insane. I don't even have any words to express it! Seeing and experiencing so much beauty on this trip before my eyes and in my soul was like falling in love for the first time. I am absolutely crazy about the God of the universe and his perfect majestic creation. I can't water it down, my soul is truly bursting forth with His glorious Praise! I will try to write a few more updates so that this one doesn't have to be super long. We went to some super cool cities, and saw a lot of dear friends and family along the way. Chicago, Niagra, DC, Austin, Nashville, Memphis... oh gosh, there are so many more. I was incredibly blessed to reunite with my friend Janene in DC, my friends and extended family in Massachusetts, dear family friends in Austin, and my beautiful sister and brand new niece in Austin, TX! It was overwhelming in the best kind of way to see the country and some of the dearest people in my life who just happen to live a couple thousand miles away. Well, there's a snapshot for now... I'd be happy to write more in depth about any places y'all are curious about. Just shoot me a message and I will jibber jabber your ear off!
